"The City of sin would learn that a pistol painted pink was just as lethal"
My thoughts on the book: Holy shit, where do I even begin on this one. First of all, I want to take a bow to the queen that is Amanda Foody. Her writing is like nothing I have ever read before. She has a way of making her words into something fuller, more real than any other author I know. She is a quote maker. Now, to actual book haha. As you can see from above, I really enjoyed Jac in this book. I loved that we got to see things from his POV and really get to know him, know how he thinks, who he is when he is not just Levi's second.
Something else that I really liked about this book is the girl gang that is The Spirits. Nontoxic female friendships are all to rare in books and I am here for it. Over all, I am so darn pleased with this. One of my favorit books of the year so far!
